Foucault’s Pendulum

Seemed an easier read than [b:The Name of the Rose|119073|The Name of the Rose|Umberto Eco|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1350764307s/119073.jpg|3138328], but maybe that's because I didn't mind skipping over the laundry list of conspiracy theories and theorists that popped up. Unfortunately, I didn't find it had the payoff either.

The prose was very enjoyable, and Belbo's stories interesting, but I didn't find the overall story particularly interesting, except for a few points very early on and very late. As a result, while I was reading the book, I had a good time, but was never in a rush to get back to it. Good concepts, but would've been better in a shorter book.
