Saints of the Shadow Bible (Inspector Rebus, #19)

If you like Rebuses, then you'll probably like this. Nothing particularly groundbreaking, but I enjoyed the continuing interaction between Clarke and Rebus, and the addition of Fox (and in particular, his stance on following the rules) succeeded in adding something to the mix, which I appreciated. I also got a kick out of seeing Rebus's attitudes compared and contrasted with those of some of his former colleagues.

The story itself was fine. It touched on some higher-level political issues (the upcoming separation referendum) without becoming too involved in it, like some others did. I liked the initial mystery with the car.
