The Affinities

A moderately interesting idea, explored just a little bit—less than I'd expected from Wilson after having read [b:Spin|910863|Spin (Spin, #1)|Robert Charles Wilson|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1406383726s/910863.jpg|47562]. The writing seemed clunky, especially at the beginning, with awkward phrases and idioms that I hope don't actually exist. In the end, nearly no character resonated with me. I'm beginning to think that either Spin or my state when I read it was an anomaly.
