Old Man's War (Old Man's War, #1)
It was entertaining, but not much more. It did feel Heinleinesque, and can see where the comparisons to [b:The Forever War|21611|The Forever War (The Forever War, #1)|Joe Haldeman|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1386852511s/21611.jpg|423] come from, but the book felt like a shadow of both. I'd've liked a little more character-fleshing-out, as well as commentary on the war and its effect on people and the whys (there's a little of this, but it all seemed a little shallow).
So, diverting, but I'm not compelled to continue.
