All the Light We Cannot See

Generally I liked it. The POV characters were sympathetic, and the near strict alternation and short chapters meant that you were never far from the more interesting of the two stories at any given time. Unfortunately, there was often a big difference in the interestingness of the stories. I found that in the "past", Marie Laure's story dragged, while Werner's was compelling.
A friend mentioned to me that the resolution was too long, and I agree, although it was not completely without merit.
