The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair That Changed America

Well-written and entertaining. Larson's prose generally hits the ear well. There was a tonne to learn here, and the alternating viewpoints throughout much of the book kept it interesting: the one story was able to prop up the other when it slowed a little.
