Babel

Amazing first 2/3rds. For me, it slowed a bit after the return to Oxford. Things got a little less personal and involved wider world events. It's one of the points of the book, so I can't fault it. It just engaged me a little less. And a character does a thing that I didn't enjoy, but again, it totally makes sense.
