Side Jobs (The Dresden Files, #12.5)

Uneven, but ultimately rated 4* on the strength of "The Warrior" and "Aftermath".

I have been dying for a scene with Michael for a few books now (I'm just past [b:Changes|6585201|Changes (The Dresden Files, #12)|Jim Butcher|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1304027244l/6585201.SY75.jpg|6778696] in the mainline novels) and was glad to get one. It did not disappoint, except that I think people will not see the story here and too many will miss out. Also loved being in Murph's POV. Again, something important enough that it shouldn't've been left out of main continuity.
